The curtailed 8-week cricket season comes to an end this weekend and DCC seniors still have lots to play for:
1st team need a win away against an excellent Hyde team on Saturday to finish top of Prem League East and qualify for a final on Sunday which will be played at Neston or Oulton Park.
2nd team will finish 2nd in their division after losing twice to a very good Cheadle CC team. They finish on Saturday at home to Hyde CC.
2As have already won their division (unbeaten) and will play in a final on Sunday against Hale Barns 2nd team (also unbeaten) and the match is at Didsbury CC starting at 12 noon. All support appreciated.
3rd team have already won their division (unbeaten) and will play their final match away at Toft on Sunday.
4th team are currently top of their division but will need to beat Bramhall away on Sunday to retain top spot.
5th team have been less successful but very nearly beat Bowdon who are the top team in their division last Sunday. They complete their season on Sunday v Brooklands and the match is at Wythenshawe CC.
Women’s 1st team play away at Stockport Trinity on Sunday in a match that will determine who wins the division.
So good luck to all teams for the weekend and we hope they all go well.
