Chairman Duncan Anderson began proceedings with a speech commending Mark Burns' loyal service to the club in which he has played 182 games and scored over 4000 runs.

The respective captains then awarded their 'Player of the Month' and they were as follows: Steve Green (1st XI), David Tubby (2nd XI), Richard Daniel (3rd XI), Oli Dodd (5th XI) and Hana Rafiq (1st XI women).

As ever, the karaoke that followed was never short of willing volunteers.

The next 'club night' is Saturday 8th June. The 1st XI are playing at home and DCC women have planned an afternoon tea in order to raise money for charity. In the evening, JP and DB will be running their annual quiz night and all members and their guests are welcome.
